Raising Awareness – Delivering a Presentation (Option 1)
Sunday 23 July 7-8pm (A-3-1)
This session will be repeated thrice, so you only need to attend it once.
Many parents are either unaware of their rights and responsibilities or don’t know what to do to navigate school-based sex education or respond to life in a hypersexualised society.
Community awareness raising is helped by public events, either in masaajid, community centres or through coffee mornings.
This session will cover the contents of the presentation used to raise awareness and provide guidance to parents on how to support parents in schools and in raising their children.
You will be asked to watch a recorded presentation before the session and then during the session we will talk through it to support you to be able to deliver it.
